THE Red Hot Summer Tour is returning to heat up the Hunter Valley in February, headlined by Australian rock royalty Hunters & Collectors. The star-studded lineup will also feature Australian Crawl legend James Reyne, rockabillies The Living End and pub rock icons The Angels. The 10th edition of the Red Hot Summer Tour will be completed by hard-rockers Baby Animals, early 2000s hit-makers Killing Heidi and pop rock legends Boom Crash Opera.

The Red Hot Summer Tour 2020 will visit Roche Estate, at Pokolbin on February 15. It will be Hunters & Collectors first tour since 2014's A Day on the Green, where they visited Bimbadgen. Prior to that show they had not toured since 1998. The Mark Seymour-fronted band are renowned for their classics like Throw Your Arms Around Me, Holy Grail and Do You See What I See?

In recent years Hunters & Collectors have performed sporadically. Their last live gig was at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide in 2017. Killing Heidi frontwoman, Ella Hooper, told Newcastle Herald it is "flattering," and "a real honour" to be touring with Red Hot Summer, their first Hunter show since last year's Scene & Heard Festival. "I'm just really looking forward to watching these bands, I don't think I've seen Hunters & Collectors play because they haven't been together in a long time... so that will be a treat," Hooper said. Hooper said that Killing Heidi's set will include "all the hits from the early 2000s and the late 90s," including Weir and Mascara. "It'll be full of energy, full of colour." Tickets go on sale from 9am on August 8.
